Even though I am a huge Republican, this is a guy I can support. If you can't support your friends, who can you support.

Go for it Don.

Illinois office holders and seekers are like most political candidates we hope a public servant in the making. The question has opportunity knocked at their door for service or self? Balance required.

I was a guest on Burris's Chicago TV political issues program years ago and served on an advisory board with Roland Burris when he served as Attorney General. He is a good man and has put himself between public service and opportunity and we will see how he balances the two.
This week impeachment in Springfield is on the move and the U.S. Senate looks at the Burris appointment. Time and politics drag out the drama

Don, Randy Ramsley here. I did some lobby work last year for an environmental group. I was teamed with a gentleman from illinois. I visited all of your congressmen. Bobby Rush's office was interesting. And I was impressed with Rohm Emanuel's people. Dick Durbin is a vital supporter of Redrock Wilderness issues in the Senate. We are optomistic that the political leaders from your state will serve the environment/people thoughfully.
